The Start of Will’s Journey: A Life of Highs and Lows

Will’s fitness journey has been anything but linear. As a kid, he was active in team sports like soccer, staying fit and energetic. But like many of us, things changed in his teenage years. He started gaining weight, finding himself in what he describes as a "chubbier" phase through middle and high school. Strength training in high school helped him regain confidence, but the demands of life continued to test his resolve.


During college, balancing school, stress, and self-care became a challenge. By the time he graduated, Will had reached his heaviest weight at 300 pounds—a point he recalls as a wake-up call.


Determined to turn things around, Will began exploring fitness again. He found success with CrossFit and strength training, shedding the extra weight and rediscovering his love for being active. But life had more in store for him.


A Dad’s Struggle: Balancing Parenthood and Fitness

Becoming a dad was a life-changing moment for Will. Like so many parents, he poured his energy into his family, often putting his own needs on the back burner. With sleepless nights and the demands of raising kids, fitness took a backseat.


“I didn’t like how I looked, but more than that, I didn’t want my daughters to see me as someone who lacked discipline or didn’t prioritize health,” Will shared. “I knew I needed to set a better example.”
